A fast-growing fine jewellery brand was considering its next evolution amid intensifying competition and changing consumer behaviours. It needed to bring different stakeholders together, take stock of existing knowledge and agree where the business should focus next.

‍

The Task

Plum’s role was to help the team turn research and stakeholder perspectives into strategic choices. The task combined evidence synthesis with a facilitated workshop, creating a shared foundation for the brand’s next phase.

‍

The Approach

We began by consolidating the brand’s existing research, data and learnings. This gave the team a connected view of what it already knew and a foundation for exploring future opportunities.

Conversations with internal stakeholders, franchisee partners and consumers across city tiers added different perspectives on the business and the category. We used these inputs to identify shifts in consumer behaviour, emerging trends and gaps in the market.

We then designed and led a full-day workshop that brought these stakeholders together around the evidence. Immersive artefacts helped participants absorb past learnings and step into consumers’ lives. The team mapped pain points across customer journey touchpoints and developed ideas to address them.

The workshop created space for the team to step away from routine planning, examine opportunities together and build a shared view of the directions worth pursuing.

‍

The Outcome

The team aligned on strategic growth opportunities, with ideas spanning the product and material portfolio and improvements to the retail experience across channels.

Our final report brought the workshop outputs together into a roadmap aimed at customer acquisition, retention and business growth. By connecting existing knowledge, fresh perspectives and facilitated decision-making, we helped the client move from understanding its challenges to defining its next business steps.
